Glass medicine bottle with a volume of 15 ml and a black safety dropper, intended for cosmetics that are dispensed by the drop. The opaque black glass protects the contents from light and also hides them, which suits serums, facial oils and essential oil blends. The set is declared suitable for contact with cosmetics. What it is suited for

The small volume and dropper dispensing particularly suit concentrated products that are used a few drops at a time:

• Oil serums and facial oils – blends of vegetable oils with active ingredients, applied by the drop to the face, décolletage or hair.
• Water-based and gel serums – light products with hyaluronic acid, niacinamide or peptides, where you want precise dispensing.
• Essential oil blends – prepared compositions for dilution in a carrier oil, where the number of drops decides the result.
• Samples and test batches – trying out a recipe, or gift and travel packs.
• Macerated oils – herbal oils macerated for cosmetic use.

The set is intended for cosmetic contents, both oil-based and water-based. For alcohol-based products, check beforehand how the dropper behaves with the particular formulation.

Dispensing and seal

The dropper screws onto the neck of the bottle and also serves as the closure. The contents are drawn up by squeezing the head and dispensed by the drop directly onto the skin, into the palm or into another product. The dropper tube is made of glass and the head of silicone. The length of the dropper matches the height of the bottle, so it reaches close to the bottom and the remainder of the contents can also be drawn up.

The safety dropper is part of the set, so you do not need to choose a closure according to the thread type. Good to know

Before the first filling, wash the bottle and the dropper, disinfect them with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and let them dry completely. Residual water in the tube or at the bottom gets into oil-based contents, where it can cause clouding or promote the growth of microorganisms in products without a preservative.

The bottle is reusable. Once empty, it is enough to wash it, disinfect it and dry it; after wet cleaning, also let the inside of the tube dry. When switching to a different type of product, it is better to replace the dropper, as the silicone head may retain the scent of the previous contents.

Glass does not tolerate sudden temperature changes. Let a hot oil phase or a still warm emulsion cool before filling, otherwise the glass may crack. Opaque glass also has a drawback: the level of the contents cannot be seen from outside, and you can only estimate the amount by weight or when drawing it up with the dropper.

Dispose of the emptied and rinsed bottle in glass recycling. The dropper combines glass, plastic and silicone, so separate it from the bottle before disposal.
