Product description

Glyceryl dibehenate (G2B) a fatty ester (without palm fat content), which is most commonly used in the food industry, in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals, in oral care and in cosmetics.

In cosmetics it is used to increase the viscosity of oils and to create a gel-ointment texture. It improves the thermal stability of balms and butters.

Heat together with the butter and heat-stable oils to 80-85°C. After complete dissolution to a transparent liquid, remove from the heat source and stir until cooled, then add the other components and continue stirring until completely cooled. 

Recommended dosage: 5 - 25% in balms, ointments and oil serums; 1.0 - 5.0% in emulsions (the higher the dosage, the firmer the texture of the final product)

Oil-soluble.

All supplied raw materials are of cosmetic grade, unsuitable for internal use.
