Sunflower lecithin is a purely natural, plant-based product, an unmodified alternative to soy lecithin.
It is mainly used in cosmetics for its moisturizing effects. Lecithin is classified as a phospholipid. These form the main part of all our cell membranes, i.e. the covering of nerve, muscle and other cells of the human body. Its main active substance is the phospholipid phosphatidylcholine (choline).
In cosmetics it is mainly used as an emulsifier, stabilizer and preservative.
Sunflower lecithin is insoluble in water and soluble in oil.
Application: 3-5 %
All raw materials supplied are of cosmetic quality, not suitable for internal use.
