Soy lecithin is made from soybean oil and is used as an emulsifier in home cosmetics .

An emulsifier is a substance that enables a homogeneous mixture to be formed from otherwise immiscible liquids, e.g. water and oil. Adding an emulsifier to a mixture of water and oil produces an emulsion. These are, for example, creams, body lotions, shaving emulsions, make-up removing oils and anything containing oil and water. It has a honey-yellow colour which it imparts to the products you add it to.

Compared to other emulsifiers, soya lecithin does not modify the consistency of the cream and therefore it should be combined with e.g. cetyl alcohol, cetearyl alcohol, shea butter, xanthan gum, etc. The creams thus produced will have a light texture, but will only acquire their final consistency after standing (i.e. for one day).

Soya lecithin treats the skin excellently and makes it inimitably smooth and soft.

It is insoluble in water and soluble in oil.

Application: 3 - 5%

All raw materials supplied are of cosmetic quality, not suitable for internal use. Raw material safety grade according to EWG: 1 - 3 (depending on the degree of use)
