Product description

Glyceryl Stearate SE is a self-emulsifying glyceryl stearate which is a suitable base for the preparation of oil-in-water (O/W) cosmetic emulsions for skin and hair care. This product is a white to off-white powder with a slight faint odour.

Glyceryl Stearate S/E differs from ordinary Glyceryl Stearate in that it contains a small amount of potassium stearate. The addition of this ingredient allows self-emulsification and therefore does not require the presence of oil and water.

Glyceryl Stearate SE is a versatile, anionic, non-ethoxylated emulsifier. It is mild, oil soluble and targeted for the production of O/W creams, body butters, face masks, scrubs, shower gels, shampoos and conditioners. It is of vegetable origin.

Recommended dosage: 4-8 % (max. 40 %)

Recommendation for use: at 60 - 70 degrees C incorporate into the oil phase
