Yes, the glass bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend cleaning the packaging and the dropper as thoroughly as possible and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after complete hygiene of the packaging is it appropriate to refill it with a new product.
We recommend disassembling the dropper into individual components before further use, to the extent that the construction allows, and rinsing it with a suitable cleaning solution that is compatible with the material used and your formulation. After mechanical cleaning, it is advisable to disinfect the components with an alcohol-based preparation (e.g. IPA or ethanol), then allow them to dry completely at room temperature away from a direct heat source. For very viscous or strongly perfumed products, it may be more practical to choose a new dropper to avoid residual odour or influencing the next filling.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend recycling it according to the material type stated in the product parameters. The glass body of the packaging is usually placed in a container designated for glass, while the dropper and any plastic or rubber parts should be separated and placed in the appropriate collection bins according to local recycling rules. Before recycling, it is a good idea to empty the packaging and remove coarse product residues in order to facilitate the subsequent recycling process.
Dropper packaging is ideal for products that are used in small amounts and where precise application is important, for example facial serums, oils with active ingredients, aromatherapeutic blends, intensive oil treatments or concentrated solutions for external use. Thanks to drop-by-drop dosing, the risk of overdosing is reduced and the product is used economically.
