Glass bottle with screw neck and precision dropper represents a professional packaging solution for liquid cosmetic products, medicinal solutions, serums and concentrated blends. Thanks to the high-quality glass and functional dropper, it is suitable for filling preparations where precise and hygienic drop-by-drop dosing is important. The dark glass also helps protect the more sensitive contents from undesirable light exposure, which supports the stability and shelf life of the product.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing options (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected in the product details. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test – in particular for sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, oil content, alcohol, acidity, etc.).
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached packaging quality certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if correct hygiene principles are observed, especially in home or artisanal production. Before each new filling, however, the bottle and the dropper must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 %. Only after the disinfectant has completely dried is the packaging ready for reuse.
The dropper bottle is most suitable for products where a small dose and precise dosing are important – for example facial and eye serums, oil elixirs, concentrated active substances, oil or herbal extracts, aromatherapeutic blends and tinctures intended for external use. Thanks to the dropper, you keep the consumption of the product under control and minimise the risk of contamination of the contents.
After the contents have been used up, we recommend first rinsing the bottle with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent, thoroughly removing all residues of the original product, and then rinsing several times with clean water. After drying, it is necessary to disinfect with alcohol the inner surface of the bottle and the parts of the dropper that come into contact with the contents – for example with the products IPA 99 % or Ethanol 96 %. Only when the disinfectant has completely evaporated is the packaging ready for further use.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it according to the material types listed in the product parameters. The glass bottle should be placed in the container intended for glass, and it is ideal to remove product residues. The dropper consists of several parts (plastic, rubber, possibly metal) and we recommend, where possible, separating and sorting them in accordance with local waste management rules. By following the recommended sorting, you reduce environmental burden and support the reuse of materials.
