The glass bottle with safety cap represents a reliable packaging option for professional and artisan filling of liquid preparations. Thanks to the high-quality glass, it is suitable for formulations where long-term stability, protection against external influences, and safe dosing during use are important. The darker glass naturally helps reduce light penetration to the sensitive contents, which is particularly advantageous for products prone to degradation caused by UV radiation. The safety cap with a lock reduces the risk of unintended opening and supports safe storage and transport.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems depending on the selected parameters. They can be combined, for example, with screw caps, droppers, spray pumps, or practical applicators, allowing you to set the dosing method according to the character of your product. Packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing, and behavior of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially for preparations with unconventional composition or a higher proportion of active substances.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Glass is generally a very stable and inert packaging material, so it is also suitable for formulations containing essential oils, vegetable oils, or alcohol. However, for new or highly concentrated blends we recommend performing a trial filling and a short-term test in order to verify the behavior of the entire system (packaging, closure, any sealing element) in contact with the specific composition.
The packaging can be reused provided strict hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, mechanically clean the bottle (rinsing, suitable cleaning agent, thorough rinsing), let it dry completely, and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based agent, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or etanol 96 % denaturovany rastlinný, which you can find on the pages IPA 99 – isopropyl alkohol 1 l and Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný 1 l. Disinfection is necessary before each repeated use in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination and degradation of the product.
The safety cap with lock is also practical for household and technical preparations where it is important to reduce the risk of unintended opening or accidental handling. However, when filling chemically more aggressive formulations, we recommend verifying compatibility with the specific blend – ideally by trial filling a smaller number of pieces and monitoring the sealing, compression, and any changes to the closure over time.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it according to the material composition listed in the product parameters. Remove any remaining contents from the glass part of the bottle and, according to local sorting rules, place it in the container designated for glass. Sort the plastic or combined closure according to the material marking in the parameter table (usually into plastics or municipal waste if sorting is not possible). When recycling, always follow local waste management guidelines and the recommendations provided with the product.
To select suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category. In the advanced filter, you can conveniently narrow down the selection according to neck type, size, color, and packaging material. By combining these parameters, you will quickly find the bottle, jar, or pot that best matches the requirements of your product and the intended dosing method.
