This bottle with integrated sprayer is designed to provide comfortable and precise dosing of the liquid content in the form of a spray. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (tightness, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the sprayer and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol, for example using IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or 96 % denatured plant ethanol. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and extends the stability of your preparations.
The aluminium bottle with mechanical sprayer is most suitable for water-based and hydroalcoholic formulations that need to be applied as a fine mist. Typically, these are face and body sprays, hydrolats, hair products, aromatherapeutic and interior sprays, or light cleaning solutions. For more viscous or highly oily blends, we recommend always testing the functionality of the sprayer on a small sample.
Before repeated use, it is advisable to first rinse the packaging with a suitable cleaning solution or warm water with a mild detergent and then rinse thoroughly with clean water. We then recommend disinfecting the inner space of the bottle as well as the dip tube and sprayer head, for example using 99 % isopropyl alcohol or 96 % plant ethanol. Allow the alcohol to act briefly and let the excess evaporate or pump it thoroughly through the sprayer mechanism to flush the internal channels.
We recommend storing the filled packaging in a dry place, at a stable room temperature and out of direct sunlight. Always close the bottle tightly using the locking mechanism of the sprayer (if included) to prevent unintended leakage and a reduction in the concentration of volatile components. For sensitive preparations, it may be advantageous to keep the finished product in a cooler and more shaded environment, according to the recommendations of the formula.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend that after emptying and basic rinsing you place it in separate collection for metal packaging, in line with local waste sorting rules. Before disposal, it is advisable to separate the metal bottle from the plastic parts of the sprayer to facilitate recycling of the individual materials. Specific recommendations for recycling can also be found in the parameter table for the product, where the type of material used and the recommended sorting method are indicated.
