Glass bottle made from clear, high-quality glass with a practical closure represents a reliable container for cosmetic formulations, laboratory solutions and artisanal products in small batches. The smooth transparent glass enables instant visual inspection of the contents, which you will appreciate when preparing and dispensing liquid and slightly viscous preparations. The bottle is designed as a universal container for various types of fills, which makes it easy to include in your product portfolio as well as in test batches.
Thanks to the stable glass and high-quality closure, the container is suitable for liquid solutions, serums, oils and low-viscosity emulsions, helping to maintain their consistency and minimise contact with the external environment. The transparent walls are ideal wherever control of colour, clarity and possible sediment is important, for example with macerates, extracts or test samples.
Glass bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of containers and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, dosing accuracy and behaviour of the container in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, pH, alcohol content, oil or water base, etc.).

The glass bottle is designed to safely serve for packaging various cosmetic products, including facial serums, oil blends and toners. The stable glass is neutral towards common cosmetic ingredients, does not affect the fragrance or colour of the product and, with an appropriately selected closure, allows precise dosing and comfortable use as part of daily face and body care.
The container can be reused provided that basic hygiene principles and appropriate cleaning between individual fills are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, ideally using high-strength alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol available as the product IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol (/ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/) or plant-based ethanol (/etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/). This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and unwanted reactions between residues of the previous product and the new formulation.
Before refilling, we recommend first rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning solution or with warm water and a mild detergent, then rinsing thoroughly with clean water and allowing it to dry completely. After mechanical cleaning, the disinfection step is important – treat the inner surface and the neck of the bottle with high-strength alcohol, for example IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol (/ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/) or ethanol 96 % (/etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/). After the alcohol has evaporated, the bottle is ready for a new filling.
If you decide not to use the container further, we recommend recycling it in accordance with the material specified in the product parameters. After emptying and basic rinsing, place the glass part in the appropriate glass container according to the locally applicable waste sorting rules. Sort the closure, any inserts and other components according to the material specified in the parameter table for the product – it is advisable to separate the individual parts from each other so that they can be properly processed in the recycling system.
