Kukui oil is an exotic oil made from the nuts of Hawaii's national Kukui tree. Refined means that it has undergone a process in which it has been stripped of colour and fragrance.
It contains a high proportion of fatty acids, amino acids and vitamins A, C and E. It is suitable for all skin types, but is most appreciated by people with dry and dehydrated skin, as it is quickly absorbed, moisturizes well and does not leave a greasy film. An excellent choice for dry, aging, tired, sensitive and irritated skin prone to skin diseases, pigmentation and wrinkles.
It has soothing and regenerating effects on minor injuries, skin rashes, eczema, psoriasis, sun and frost burns, acne and scars. Kukui oil is also good for the scalp, especially those prone to dandruff. It is also excellent for nourishing the hair - as it does not leave a greasy film and is quickly absorbed, it can be applied all over the hair and there is no need to rinse, giving shine, a healthy look, moisturising and protecting the hair fibre.
