Babassu oil is a cold-pressed oil from the fruit of the Brazilian babassu palm. It is high in vitamins and minerals. At room temperature it retains a solid consistency. Ideal for aging and dry skin. Thanks to its moisturizing properties , it protects the skin from irritation, cold and dryness.
The oil should be stored in a dark container, in a dark, dry and cool place without access to oxygen, which devalues the beneficial unsaturated fatty acids.
It is suitable for the manufacture of creams, shampoos and balms.
