Transparent milky glass bottle with white dropper 50 ml represents a practical and aesthetic packaging for high-quality liquid formulations, where controlled drop-by-drop application is important. Thanks to the combination of a glass pharmaceutical bottle and a functional dropper, it offers hygienic, precise and clean dosing, which will be appreciated especially by manufacturers of cosmetics, extracts and concentrated solutions. This type of packaging is suitable for products where it is necessary to limit the contact of the contents with air and hands, support the stability of the formula and ensure a professional presentation of the final product.
This product represents a ready-made combination of bottle and dropper prepared for immediate use. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure that the packaging functions reliably with your particular product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
You will find the right packaging most quickly by using the advanced filter in the packaging category. After clicking on the relevant category, the advanced filter is located at the top of the page and allows you to sort the offer according to several parameters – especially according to neck type, size, colour and material. Thanks to this, you can easily narrow down the selection to bottles, pharmaceutical bottles or jars that will meet the requirements of the specific product as well as your technological requirements.
Yes, the glass packaging can be reused, provided that hygiene principles are observed, and included in your long-term production or home cosmetic routine. However, before each new filling it is essential to thoroughly clean and disinfect both the bottle and the dropper in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination or residues of the previous product. For disinfection we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based, in accordance with your internal hygiene procedures and the type of formulation being filled.
Before re-use, first mechanically remove any product residues from the inside of the bottle and the dropper, for example by rinsing with a suitable solvent compatible with the original formulation. Then wash the packaging in warm water with a mild cleaning agent, rinse well and allow it to dry completely. After thorough drying, we recommend disinfecting the inner surface with an alcohol solution (for example using products available on Handymade), while it is important to allow the alcohol to evaporate before refilling. For the dropper, pay particular attention to the pipette and the sealing area so that they remain clean and functional.
The dropper is designed for precise dosing of liquids with low to medium viscosity, which are suitable to be applied drop by drop. These are mainly facial and body oils, serums containing active substances, intensive oil blends with essential oils or special treatment products for smaller skin areas. For very thick formulations or gel-like textures, dropping may be limited, so it is always advisable to carry out a trial filling and check whether the dosing meets your requirements.
After filling the packaging, we recommend carefully screwing on the dropper without over-tightening, so as not to damage the thread or the seal. Then it is appropriate to carry out a short leak test – tilt the bottle slightly and observe whether any product leakage appears in the neck area. For long-term storage or transport, it is advisable to avoid extreme temperatures and strong shocks. As the properties of individual formulations differ, it is important to verify the compatibility of the packaging with the specific product already in the testing phase.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle with dropper, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste management rules and the information in the product parameters. The glass part of the packaging can usually be placed in a container intended for glass after you have removed any remaining contents. The dropper with plastic and rubber components should be separated from the glass and placed in the appropriate fraction of mixed or sorted waste according to the local system. Specific recommendations for recycling are governed by the material composition indicated in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade website, so it is advisable to familiarise yourself with these before disposal.
