Wheat germ oil is high in antioxidants and is an ideal choice for mature skin. It is produced by cold pressing from sprouted wheat kernels. It has a dark golden colour and smells strongly of grain.
It contains the highest proportion of vitamin E among the oils, as well as vitamins A, B, F and cartenoids. Essential fatty acids account for up to 50-70 % of its content. It is most often combined with other oils. Its high antioxidant content can extend the life of oil blends.
It softens and softens hardened skin on the body, it is very well absorbed. It is also used in children's skin preparations.
