Black dropper with safety ring is a practical closure for precise dosing of liquids, ideal for cosmetic formulations, serums, oils or concentrated blends. In combination with a suitable bottle it ensures controlled application of the contents drop by drop, which is advantageous for products with a higher concentration of active ingredients as well as for long-term storage.
The safety ring helps create a safe and reliable closure of the packaging, reduces the risk of unintentional opening during transport and at the same time supports the professional appearance of the final product. A suitably chosen medicine bottle or vial together with this dropper provides practical packaging for liquid products that require precise dosing and clean application.
This dropper is intended to be combined with compatible bottles and medicine bottles with a suitable neck. Within the Handymade range, it is possible to find glass and plastic containers that are directly paired with this type of closure. The combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (tightness, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially for formulas with a high proportion of oils, alcohol or active ingredients.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
To select a suitable bottle, medicine bottle or other container, you can use the extended filter located at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category. In the extended filter it is possible to combine several parameters at once – especially the type and size of the neck, the overall size of the packaging, the colour and the material. This way you quickly filter out only those packages that are most suitable for your formula and planned dosing.
The dropper can be reused under normal use, but only with strict adherence to hygiene principles. Before each new filling, the packaging (bottle and dropper) must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you will find in the range the products IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based, which should be used according to the recommended procedures. In this way you reduce the risk of microbial contamination and maintain the quality of your products.
The dropper is ideal for products that require very precise and controlled dosing – for example facial serums with a high content of active ingredients, oil concentrates, booster drops or aromatherapeutic oils. It is also suitable for test and development batches where you need to monitor the reaction of the skin or material to a precisely defined amount of applied product. For more viscous oils or emulsions, we recommend testing the dripping speed and, if necessary, choosing another form of dosing.
It is advisable to check the dropper regularly in terms of cleanliness and mechanical wear, especially in the area of the thread, the seal and the dropper tip. After emptying the container, we recommend disassembling the dropper to the extent allowed by the design, gently rinsing it with a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing thoroughly and allowing it to dry completely. Before refilling, always perform disinfection with an alcohol solution and use the dropper again only after it has evaporated. Avoid using very aggressive solvents that could affect the elasticity and tightness of the material.
If you decide not to use the dropper any longer, we recommend that after emptying the container and removing any product residues, you recycle it according to the material type indicated in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade website. It is usually necessary to separate the individual parts (for example the plastic cap, any pipette or sealing elements) and sort them into the appropriate collection containers according to local waste-sorting rules. Always follow the recommended recycling symbol and material designation for the product. In this way you reduce the amount of waste and support the reuse of raw materials.
