Transparent plastic jar with gold lid and sifter is a practical packaging component, ideal for filling delicate cosmetic preparations, especially loose powders, mineral products or highlighters. Thanks to the integrated sifter insert, it allows controlled and clean dosing of the contents, which increases the comfort of use as well as the final impression of the product. The secure closure with a gold lid gives the packaging an aesthetic appearance and helps protect the contents from contamination and undesired leakage.
This jar is supplied as a ready-made combination of container, sifter and lid. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure the packaging works optimally with the specific product.

The jar can be reused provided that proper hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with an appropriate product, for example technical alcohol or isopropyl alcohol. For disinfection we recommend the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Only after it is completely dry can you safely refill the jar with a new product.
The integrated sifter makes this jar ideal for fine loose products where controlled dosing is important. It is particularly suitable for mineral and setting powders, transparent powder products, delicate highlighters, bronzers, loose eyeshadows or multifunctional pigments. The sifter helps reduce dust during application and at the same time prevents accidental release of a larger amount of contents.
When filling, we recommend first sifting the loose product to remove lumps and any larger particles that could clog the sifter. Fill the jar gradually and do not overfill it to the very top, so that the powder has space to distribute evenly during handling. After filling, gently tap the bottom of the jar against a soft surface and then attach the sifter and the lid. In this way you will achieve even dosing and clean application during use.
First mechanically empty the jar and remove powder residues with a soft brush or cloth. Then wash it in lukewarm water with a mild detergent and rinse thoroughly. After it is completely dry, the packaging must be disinfected with a suitable alcohol solution – for example using IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Apply the disinfectant with a sprayer or a clean cloth, allow it to evaporate, and only then refill the jar.
If you decide not to reuse the jar, we recommend recycling it after emptying and basic cleaning, in accordance with the information stated in the parameter table for the product. According to the material composition given there, you will sort the individual parts of the jar (container, sifter, lid) into the appropriate separate waste stream. Before disposal, remove any cosmetic residues so that you do not contaminate the recycling stream and you enable efficient material processing.
