Product description

18 mm black plastic cream dispenser is a practical packaging component designed for convenient and hygienic dispensing of various creamy and emulsion-based preparations. Thanks to a construction adapted for repeated pressing, it helps to keep the contents of the bottle protected from excessive contact with air and hands, which is ideal when packaging more sensitive cosmetic formulations. This type of dispenser is suitable for manufacturers, artisan creators and home formulators who are looking for a reliable solution for liquid and semi-liquid products.

Possible uses

  • face and body creams, emulsions, serums and facial emulgel preparations
  • cleansing and care preparations for hands, body lotions and after-sun emulsions
  • hair care products, styling creams and leave-in treatments
  • specialised dermocosmetic recipes with dosing in smaller amounts
  • artisan and natural cosmetics where precise and hygienic dosing is important

Packaging advantages

  • Material stability – the high-quality plastic material of the dispenser is designed for repeated pressing, maintaining its shape and functionality during normal use.
  • Protection of contents – the pump mechanism minimises repeated finger contact with the product in the bottle, helping to maintain hygiene and formulation stability.
  • Controlled dosing – the construction allows you to dispense an appropriate amount of cream without spilling and unnecessary waste of the contents.
  • Universal use – suitable for a wide range of cosmetic products, from lighter emulsions to thicker cream preparations of various brands and formulations.
  • The aesthetic appearance in black makes it easy to combine with various types of bottles and helps to create a uniform design of the product line.

Combining with closures and dispensers

  • The dispenser is intended for use with compatible bottles according to the selected neck type in the product parameters.
  • These bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters.
  • Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional to ensure reliable sealing and user comfort.
  • For all combinations, however, we recommend always performing your own compatibility test – verifying sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, oil content, active substances, etc.).

Technical parameters

  • All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
  • In this documentation you will find details on material composition, recommended method of use and other information important for the safe implementation of the packaging in your production.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

How should the dispenser and bottle be properly prepared before the first filling with cream?

Before the first filling, we recommend completely disassembling the packaging, i.e. separating the dispenser from the bottle, and thoroughly cleaning all parts. They then need to be disinfected with a suitable agent – for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow all components to dry completely at room temperature and only then proceed to filling with the final product in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination.

Is it possible to use this dispenser and bottle repeatedly?

Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene principles are observed. After the contents have been used up, we recommend rinsing the bottle and dispenser as soon as possible, removing product residues and then cleaning them with a suitable cleaning agent. Before each new filling, the packaging must not only be washed but also disinfected – for example using isopropyl alcohol or plant-based denatured ethanol. It is important to allow all parts to dry completely after disinfection in order to prevent dilution or disruption of your formulation by residues of the disinfectant.

You offer many types of packaging – how can I find the right one for my product?

To make it easier to select packaging, you can use the extended filter, which is available at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category. In the extended filter it is possible to combine several criteria at once – in particular neck type, size, colour and packaging material. In this way, you can quickly narrow the offer down to options that are technically compatible with your intention and at the same time meet the visual and practical requirements of your brand.

What should I do if the dispenser does not work optimally after being fitted or dispenses unevenly?

If the dispenser does not draw up the product or dispenses unevenly, first check that it is correctly screwed onto the bottle neck and that the thread is tightly seated. Then press the pump several times without product so that the mechanism fills with product. For very thick or highly viscous creams, it may be necessary to adjust the recipe (for example by reducing viscosity) so that the flow through the dosing mechanism is smooth. We always recommend carrying out a trial filling and testing the dosing on several pieces before filling the entire production batch.

How can the dispenser be safely disposed of and recycled if I do not want to use it further?

If you decide not to reuse the dispenser and the related bottle, we recommend first emptying them and removing product residues in accordance with local regulations on the handling of cosmetic waste. Then follow the information on the material given in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade website – depending on the specified type of plastic and the corresponding recycling symbol, the packaging should be placed in the appropriate container for sorted waste. For combined packaging, it is advisable, where possible, to separate the individual parts (for example the pump from the bottle) in order to maximise the recyclability of the materials.
