The HDPE plastic bottle represents a reliable container for a wide range of liquid and semi-liquid formulations. Thanks to its durable plastic body and practical flip-top closure, it is suitable for precise, controlled dispensing without unnecessary spillage and without contamination of the contents. The matt finish looks professional, combines easily with various labels, and supports a clean, aesthetic appearance of the final product.
This type of HDPE packaging is popular in the manufacture of cosmetics and personal hygiene products because it offers good chemical resistance and stability when in contact with common formulation components such as surfactants, oils or plant extracts. The flip-top system allows easy one-handed opening, which you will appreciate both in everyday use and in professional dosing.
HDPE bottles of this type are compatible with various closure types and dispensing methods depending on the selected parameters – for example screw caps, dropper inserts, sprayers or practical applicators. Combinations of containers and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) so that the final product is reliable even during long-term storage.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the HDPE bottle is suitable for liquid as well as thicker formulations such as gels, light emulsions or thickened cleansing products. The flip-top closure allows dispensing of more viscous contents – however, before filling it is recommended to test whether the flow rate and dosing are suitable for your specific formula.
The container can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before each filling we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and closure, rinsing them and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol solution, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. Only after the alcohol has dried and evaporated is the container ready for safe filling with a new product.
Before final stocking of the product, we recommend preparing a test sample and leaving it for several weeks in the filled bottle under normal storage conditions. Monitor in particular changes in colour, fragrance, viscosity and any damage to the surface of the packaging or the seal of the closure. It is also appropriate to test the behaviour of the packaging during transport – for example by storing the bottle on its side or exposing it to slight pressure.
If you decide not to reuse the container, we recommend emptying it, rinsing out product residues as well as possible and then sorting it according to the recycling instructions given in the parameter table for the product on Handymade.sk. HDPE containers are normally placed in the appropriate plastic waste container according to local waste sorting rules. Before discarding, it is advisable to tighten the closure to prevent leakage of any remaining contents during collection and transport of the waste.
Yes, the container can be used for another type of formulation after the original product has been used up, but it is essential to ensure thorough cleaning and disinfection. After mechanical cleaning and rinsing, the bottle and closure must be disinfected, for example using isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol, allowed to dry completely, and only then filled with a new product. When switching from very aromatic or highly coloured products, we additionally recommend performing a trial filling to exclude any transfer of fragrance or colour.
To make selection easier, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category. In the advanced filter, you can adjust the range according to parameters such as neck type, container size, colour or material used. This allows you to quickly find bottles, jars, pots or pharmaceutical bottles that will suit your formulation and the visual style of your brand.
