Product description

A plastic bottle with a white-gold pump dispenser of 100 ml is a ready-made complete set for liquid soaps, lotions, serums and oils. The dispenser delivers a measured dose with each press, so the contents do not need to be poured or scooped with fingers, which is more hygienic than an open jar when it comes to cosmetics. The transparent round bottle made of PET and the dispenser with a white-gold head share the same neck type, fit together precisely and seal without any further adjustment.

The transparent material shows the contents and their colour – both you and your customer can see how much product remains in the bottle. PET is lightweight and break-resistant, making the set suitable for travel, the bathroom or sales samples where glass would be heavy or risky. The 100 ml volume is practical for liquid hand soaps, light body lotions, conditioners, serums, massage and facial oils or trial batches of new formulations.

The bottle and dispenser are declared as suitable for contact with cosmetic products.

Key benefits

  • Measured dispensing – each press releases the same amount of product, making application and consumption control easier. The dose size can be found in the specifications.
  • Hygienic use – the contents do not come into contact with hands and air has less access than in a jar, reducing the risk of contamination during use.
  • Lightweight and durable packaging – PET withstands drops and transport, suitable for handbags, travel and shipping to customers.
  • Visible contents – the clear material shows the colour, clarity and any changes in the product, which helps when testing formulation stability.
  • Simple combination – the bottle and dispenser share the same neck type, the set is ready for filling without searching for a suitable cap.

Which products is the set suitable for

The dispenser is designed for liquid and semi-liquid formulations that can be drawn up through the tube and pass through the head. It works well with liquid soaps, shower gels, shampoos, body lotions, light creams, conditioners, facial and massage oils or liquid serums.

The dispenser is not suitable for thick creams, butters and pastes – the product cannot be drawn up or the head delivers an incomplete dose. Also unsuitable are products with solid particles (scrubs, sugar or salt mixes) that would block the mechanism. For very thin water-based products intended for spraying (tonics, hydrolats, refreshing mists) a spray is more appropriate, as the dispenser delivers liquid in a stream rather than a fine mist.

The dispenser tube is longer than the height of the bottle. Before first use, shorten it so that it just reaches the bottom, and cut the end at an angle. The angled cut prevents the tube from sucking against the bottom and causing the dispenser to stop drawing up liquid.

Nominal and total volume

Nominal volume is the volume for which the bottle is intended under normal filling conditions. Total volume to the brim is the physical volume up to the neck and is slightly larger. The difference accounts for the dispenser and its tube, and for expansion of the contents with temperature changes. The bottle should be filled to the nominal volume, not to the brim – otherwise some contents will overflow when the dispenser is screwed on and product may wick through the thread.

What is good to know

Preparation before first filling. We recommend washing the bottle and dispenser, disinfecting them with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and allowing them to dry completely. Residual water would dilute the product and, in the case of water-based formulations, could worsen microbiological stability. The packaging does not replace a preservation system – water-based and emulsion products must be preserved regardless of the type of packaging.

Temperature during filling. PET is not intended for hot filling. Allow emulsions and gels to cool to room temperature before filling – warm contents can deform the bottle wall and alter its shape.

Compatibility with the formulation. PET tolerates common cosmetic bases, oils, surfactants and emulsions. Undiluted essential oils, fragrance compositions at high concentrations and solvents can degrade the material over time – these belong in this packaging only at standard formulation dosages. The dispenser contains, in addition to plastic parts, an aluminium component; for formulations with a low pH or a high proportion of alcohol, we recommend verifying the behaviour of the complete set in the finished formulation, not just the bottle.

Light. The transparent bottle does not protect the contents from light. For products containing unsaturated oils, essential oils, vitamins or other light-sensitive ingredients, faster changes should be expected – or the packaging should be stored away from direct light.

Reuse and labelling. The set can be reused after thorough washing and disinfection – rinse the dispenser with warm water by pressing several times. When sorting waste, separate the PET bottle from the dispenser, which combines plastic with metal.

The bottle alone is also available without a cap; caps with the same neck type and other ready-made combinations can be found in the Handymade range.

The set is not approved for contact with food. Use it for cosmetic products; for edible oils, syrups and beverages, choose packaging with a food-contact certification.

Frequently asked questions

Is the 100 ml plastic bottle with dispenser suitable for liquid soap?
Yes, liquid soap and shower gels are the typical use for this set. The dispenser delivers a measured dose with each press, the contents do not spill and hands do not touch the product. The 100 ml volume is suitable for a washbasin, travel cosmetics or as a sample of a larger size. The soap must be fluid enough for the tube to draw it up.
Can the dispenser be used for thick cream?
No, this dispenser is not suitable for thick creams and butters. The mechanism is designed for liquid and semi-liquid products – thick substance cannot be drawn up or the head delivers only part of the dose. For thick creams we recommend a jar or packaging with a different type of dispenser; for light creams and lotions the dispenser works without any issues.
Why does the dispenser not dispense anything after being screwed on?
Most often the dispenser simply needs to be pressed several times first so that the tube and mechanism fill with product. If it still does not dispense, check that the tube is not pressed against the bottom of the bottle and that it is not too long. Shorten it so that it just reaches the bottom and cut the end at an angle.
Does the transparent PET bottle protect the contents from light?
No, transparent packaging lets light through and does not protect the contents from it. The advantage is the visibility of the contents and their colour; the disadvantage is faster changes in light-sensitive ingredients, such as unsaturated oils or vitamins. Store such products away from direct light, or choose dark packaging for them.
Can I fill this bottle with oil containing essential oils?
Yes, a finished oil product with essential oils at standard formulation dosages can be filled into PET. However, undiluted essential oils and high concentrations of fragrance compositions can degrade the plastic over time and do not belong in this packaging. For formulations with a high proportion of fragrance ingredients, we recommend leaving the filled set to stand for several weeks and monitoring the bottle wall and the integrity of the dispenser seal.
How should the plastic bottle with dispenser be prepared before first filling?
Wash the bottle and dispenser, disinfect them with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and allow them to dry completely. Shorten the tube to suit the height of the bottle and fill the product only after it has cooled to room temperature, up to the nominal volume only. After screwing on the dispenser, press the head several times until it begins to deliver a consistent dose.
