Glass bottle – pharmaceutical bottle with cream dispenser represents a professional packaging material for high-quality cosmetics and skin care. Thanks to precise dosing, it is ideal for packaging products where controlled application and minimizing the contact of the contents with air are important. The darker glass helps protect more sensitive formulations from undesirable external influences during storage and use.
The packaging is suitable for liquid and semi-liquid formulations that require clean, hygienic dosing, for example creams, serums or emulsions. The glass container is dimensionally stable, has a premium look and supports the professional presentation of the final product, whether it is smaller artisan batches or regular production.
The standalone glass bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the selected product parameters. It can be combined, for example, with screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators, provided they have a matching neck and thread type. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The glass pharmaceutical bottle with cream dispenser is designed as a stable packaging for standard cosmetic recipes, including products with active substances. Before introducing it into production, however, we always recommend performing your own compatibility test of the specific formulation with the packaging – monitor in particular the stability of the emulsion, changes in viscosity, fragrance and behaviour during dosing over time.
The glass bottle can be reused if hygienic principles are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based product, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Allow the disinfectant solution to act, let the packaging dry thoroughly and only then refill it with the final product. We likewise recommend cleaning and disinfecting the dispenser, if its construction allows.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend recycling it according to the material composition specified in the product parameters. The glass container should be emptied, any remaining contents removed and placed in the appropriate glass collection container. The plastic or metal dispenser is usually sorted separately according to the type of material; please follow local waste sorting rules and the recommendations resulting from the packaging parameters on the product page. In this way, you support responsible handling of packaging and its reuse in the recycling process.
When filling thicker creams, it is important to select a suitable viscosity so that the cream passes reliably through the dosing mechanism. Textures that are too dense or stringy can make pumping difficult, so it is advisable to carry out a trial filling and test the dosing with repeated pressing. At the same time, we recommend not filling the container right up to the top, so that sufficient space remains for the function of the dispenser and the movement of the piston.
To select a suitable bottle, jar or pharmaceutical bottle you can use the advanced filter, which is located at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category. In the advanced filter, several parameters can be combined at once – for example the type and size of the neck, the overall size of the packaging, the colour and the material used. In this way, you can quickly narrow down the selection only to those packages that match the required design and the technical requirements of your product.
