The glass bottle with dropper represents a reliable packaging solution for various cosmetic and technical formulations that require precise, stepwise, drop-by-drop dosing. Thanks to the combination of a glass medicine bottle and a functional dropper, it is suitable for filling liquid products where control over the amount of content applied and minimisation of contact with the external environment are important. The dark glass also helps reduce light exposure to sensitive components of the formulation, thereby helping maintain the stability and quality of the contents throughout the entire period of use.
This bottle is supplied as a functional combination of a glass medicine bottle and a dropper. Packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

You can conveniently filter all packaging for cosmetics and other products using the advanced filter, which is located at the top of the page after clicking on the selected category. In the advanced filter, you can choose packaging according to neck type, size, colour and material, so you can easily find the combination of bottle, jar or pump that best matches your specific recipe and dosing method.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if correct hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dropper must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination. For disinfection, we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. After thorough drying, you can refill the bottle with a new product.
First, we recommend rinsing the packaging mechanically with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent to remove residues of the original product. Then the bottle and dropper should be thoroughly rinsed with clean water, left to drain and dried. After drying, the inner surface of the packaging and the parts that come into contact with the contents must be disinfected with alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the alcohol has completely evaporated and drying is the bottle ready for new filling.
The dropper bottle is ideal for all formulations where you need to dose a small amount of product with high precision. It is most often used for oil and hydroalcoholic serums, active concentrates, strengthening scalp oils, nail and cuticle oils, concentrated essential oils and aromatherapeutic blends. It is also suitable for dosing highly concentrated raw materials that are added drop by drop into larger volumes of cosmetic products.
If you decide not to use the bottle and dropper any further, we recommend recycling them in accordance with the local waste-sorting rules stated in your municipality’s or city’s guidelines. The glass part of the packaging can usually be placed, after cleaning, into a container designated for glass. The plastic and rubber components of the dropper (for example the closure or the rubber part) should be separated and, according to their marking on the packaging, placed in the appropriate collection stream for plastics or mixed waste if the local system does not allow another sorting method. When recycling, always follow the material information in the product parameters and the recommendations of your collection system.
