Glass bottle with dropper represents a professional solution for packaging cosmetic products and concentrated liquids where precise and hygienic drop-by-drop application is required. Thanks to its high-quality design and practical dropper, the packaging is suitable for stable storage of serums, oils, extracts and other sensitive formulations, for which dose control and protection against contamination are important.
This type of packaging is popular with manufacturers of natural cosmetics, pharmaceutical preparations and home formulators because it offers reliable sealing, convenient handling and a professional appearance of the final product. Glass is a material that is stable and inert in the long term and, with appropriate storage, does not affect the properties of the contained product.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters of the specific product. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the packaging can be reused with appropriate handling, but we recommend following strict hygiene principles. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dropper must be carefully cleaned and disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol (for example, products available on Handymade such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based). Only after complete drying is the bottle ready for reuse.
First remove residues of the original product by rinsing with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent that is compatible with the type of residue (oils, waxes, emulsions). Then thoroughly rinse the bottle and the separate parts of the dropper with clean water so that no detergent residues remain. The final step is disinfection of the inner and outer surfaces – we recommend using alcohol-based disinfectant solutions, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol of plant origin. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry naturally in a clean, protected place.
The right packaging can be found most quickly using the advanced filter in the relevant category. After clicking on the category (for example bottles, jars or spray dispensers), the advanced filter appears at the top of the page, where you can conveniently filter by parameters such as neck type and diameter, size, colour and packaging material. This allows you to easily select the bottle or jar that will best suit both the composition and the application method of your product.
Glass bottles are commonly used for packaging concentrated aromatic blends, essential oils, serums with active substances and other targeted products. However, it is always necessary to verify the compatibility of the specific formulation with the packaging used – we recommend carrying out a trial filling in a smaller amount and monitoring any changes (colour, odour, clarity, stability of the dropper). If no undesirable reactions appear in the trial batch, the bottle is suitable for longer-term use with the given product.
If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend recycling it responsibly in accordance with the material designation specified in the product parameters. After rinsing out any remaining contents, place the glass bottle in the appropriate glass collection container according to local waste collection rules. Plastic or rubber parts of the dropper (pipette, closure, seals) should be sorted separately according to their material designation, or disposed of in mixed waste if separate collection is not available for them. In this way you minimise environmental impact and at the same time support efficient recycling of raw materials.
