Is it possible to use this glass bottle repeatedly?

Yes, the glass bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, however, it is necessary to clean the packaging thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use products available on Handymade, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. Packaging prepared in this way is also suitable for more sensitive cosmetic formulations.

How should the glass bottle be properly cleaned before reuse?

First remove the residues of the original product by rinsing with warm water and a mild detergent suitable for laboratory or cosmetic equipment. Then rinse the bottle thoroughly with clean water so that no residues of the cleaning agent remain. After drying the interior, apply disinfection using alcohol (for example IPA 99 % or vegetable ethanol) and allow it to evaporate naturally. Only after complete drying and airing is the packaging ready for refilling.

How can I safely dispose of and recycle this packaging if I do not want to use it repeatedly?

If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules. After emptying and basic rinsing, the glass container is usually placed in the container designated for glass.
