Glass bottle with aluminium cap represents a professional packaging suitable for precise and safe dispensing of various cosmetic and technical formulations. The compact glass vial is stable, resistant to common cosmetic ingredients and, together with the sealing aluminium closure, helps protect the contents from external influences and loss of aroma.

The darker tinted glass naturally contributes to the reduction of light penetration, which is important for products sensitive to degradation during long-term storage. Thanks to this, this bottle is suitable for packaging liquid and low-viscosity products, where stability, cleanliness of the packaging and easy handling during filling and use are required.

Combining with closures and dispensers

This glass bottle is part of a combination with an aluminium cap, which provides practical screw closure and easy use. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially for products with a high content of alcohol, acids or essential oils.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

Can I reuse this glass bottle?

Yes, the bottle can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After the inner surface is completely dry, the bottle is ready for reuse.

How should I properly clean the glass bottle before refilling?

First remove all residues of the original product by rinsing with warm water and a mild cleaning agent suitable for glass. Then rinse the bottle thoroughly with clean water so that no detergent residues remain. After the inner surface has dried, we recommend disinfecting the packaging by spraying or rinsing with alcohol (e.g. IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 %) and letting it fully air out. Only then is the packaging suitable for refilling with more sensitive formulations.

How should I properly recycle this glass bottle if I do not want to reuse it?

If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it according to the material composition stated in the product parameters. The glass bottle can normally be placed in a glass recycling container after removing any remaining contents. The aluminium cap belongs in sorted metal waste or combined metal waste according to the local collection system. Before sorting, it is advisable to rinse the packaging so that no significant product residues remain, which will support more efficient processing in the recycling process.

Is this bottle also suitable for products containing essential oils or acids?

The glass packaging has very good chemical resistance and is therefore generally suitable for formulations containing essential oils or weaker acids. Nevertheless, we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – fill a small amount of the product, observe the behaviour of the packaging, the sealing and the closure over time and check whether there are any changes in scent, colour or tightness. For high concentrations of active substances, individual testing is particularly important.
