The glass bottle with dropper is a professional packaging solution suitable for precise dosing of liquid formulations such as serums, oils or concentrated solutions. The dark glass helps reduce light penetration to the contents, thereby supporting the stability of sensitive components that are prone to degradation. In combination with the dropper, the bottle provides reliable and hygienic dosing even for smaller product volumes.
This type of dropper bottle is popular in the production of natural and artisan cosmetics, where precise application without unnecessary finger contact with the contents is important. It is also suitable for products with a higher proportion of active ingredients, which benefit from packaging that limits access of air and light. Thanks to the practical dropper, use is comfortable for the end customer and at the same time supports economical use of the stored preparation.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray tops or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of containers and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test – especially in terms of sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation.
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly with correct handling and adherence to hygiene principles. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the dropper and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and prolongs the usability of your products.
First mechanically remove residues of the original product by rinsing with warm water and an appropriate cleaning agent. After thorough rinsing, allow the packaging to dry and then disinfect it with alcohol – we recommend using either IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. For the dropper, pay increased attention to the pipette and rubber part to prevent clogging or impairment of the dosing functionality.
Glass is generally a very stable packaging material that is often preferred for formulations containing essential oils, perfume compositions or active ingredients with increased sensitivity. The dark version of the bottle helps to reduce the effect of light, which is advantageous for products prone to oxidation or photodegradation. Nevertheless, we recommend testing the final product in the selected packaging as part of stability studies.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, after emptying and basic cleaning we recommend sorting it into separate collection according to the material specified in the product parameters in the table on the product page. The glass part is usually placed into the container designated for glass, while the dropper may contain a combination of several materials (plastic, rubber, metal), and it is advisable to follow local waste sorting rules. By following these recommendations, you support responsible recycling and extension of the life cycle of the materials used.
To select a suitable bottle, dropper bottle, jar or other packaging, you can use the advanced filter located in the upper part of the page after clicking on a specific packaging material category. In the advanced filter you can clearly choose parameters such as neck type, size, colour or packaging material. By combining these filters, you can quickly narrow down the offer to packaging that best matches the desired product and application method.
The dropper is primarily intended for thin to medium-viscosity liquids such as serums, light oils and aqueous or hydroalcoholic solutions. For highly viscous oils or gel-like textures, drop-by-drop dosing may be slower or less comfortable. In such a case, we recommend testing the behaviour of the specific formulation in this dosing type and, if necessary, considering an alternative closure or applicator available in the Handymade range.
