The green glass bottle with a matte black dropper is a professional packaging solution intended for filling sensitive cosmetic and galenic preparations where precise, drop-by-drop application and consistent protection of the contents are important. Thanks to the high-quality glass and precise dropper, the packaging is suitable for liquid products with low to medium viscosity, such as serums, oils, fluids or concentrated blends. The dark glass naturally helps protect the contents from light, thereby supporting the stability of active ingredients during storage and use.
The glass bottle is a suitable choice also for formulations containing essential oils, since glass is generally resistant to their action and does not react with aromatic components. When working with highly concentrated blends, we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test, within which you verify the stability of the product’s fragrance, colour and viscosity over time, as well as the correct function of the dropper during long-term use.
The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and dropper must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol available on Handymade: IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured vegetable. After complete drying, you can refill the packaging, making sure to work in a clean environment and minimise contact of the inner surfaces with hands or non-sterile tools.
We recommend storing the filled bottle tightly closed, in a dry place, at a stable room temperature and away from direct sunlight or sources of heat. The dark glass already by itself helps protect light-sensitive components, but for maximum stability it is advisable to avoid extreme temperature fluctuations and prolonged exposure to humidity. For product formulations with a higher content of volatile substances or naturally unstable actives, we recommend performing storage stress tests under the conditions in which the final product will be used.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in line with the material information specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle can usually be placed in glass collection after removing product residues and separating the closure, while the dropper and its individual components (plastic part, rubber part, any additional inserts) should be sorted according to their material composition. Before placing in sorted waste, it is advisable to rinse the packaging to remove formulation residues, in order to reduce the burden on the recycling process and the environment.
To select a suitable bottle, medicine bottle or jar, you can use the extended filter located in the upper part of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category. Within the filter you can clearly set the required parameters, such as type and size of neck, volume, colour or packaging material. In this way you can easily narrow down the offer to packaging that matches your formulation and the intended method of dosing, and thus make it easier to choose the ideal solution for your product.
