Sunflower lecithin is a purely natural, plant-based product, an unmodified alternative to soy lecithin.

It is used in cosmetics mainly for its moisturizing effects. Lecithin is classified as a phospholipid. These form the main part of all our cell membranes, i.e. the covering of nerve, muscle and other cells of the human body. Its main active substance is the phospholipid phosphatidylcholine (choline).

In cosmetics it is mainly used as an emulsifier, stabilizer and preservative.

Sunflower lecithin is insoluble in water and soluble in oil. It is stable in the pH range 3-8.

Application: 3-5 %

All raw materials supplied are cosmetic grade, not suitable for internal use.
