Dimethylimidazolidinone Rice Starch, Powder, 50 g

Modified rice starch is an ultra-fine white powder that has been developed specifically for use in cosmetics. It is a multifunctional cosmetic ingredient obtained from rice starch that provides various benefits in skin and hair care. This natural starch derivative is known for its absorbing and mattifying properties, which makes it ideal for products aimed at regulating oiliness. It is added to cosmetic formulations to improve texture and consistency, making them feel smoother and lighter on the skin.

When applied to the skin, it does not clog pores and has very good adhesion. It is opaque. It mixes very well with other powders. Due to its microcrystalline structure, rice powder leaves the impression of velvety skin. It is used primarily in powders, make-up, dry shampoos and other products intended to reduce skin shine and improve its overall appearance.

It has a pH of 5.5, which is similar to the values of our skin, and therefore does not irritate it. When stored in a closed container in a dry place at room temperature, it lasts up to 5 years.
Insoluble but miscible with water; it swells in hot water.
