Sorbitol is an emulsifier that occurs naturally in fruit. It is an alcoholic sugar that is mainly used in the food industry as a sugar substitute or as an additive in toothpaste.

Sorbitol is an excellent thickener that provides the necessary viscosity and consistency for cosmetic products. It is also considered an excellent moisturiser, especially for skin and hair. You can add it to body creams, hair products or face masks.

It is added to the oil phase in the manufacture of cosmetic products.

Recommended dosage: 0,5 - 15 %
pH of the solution: 6-7
