Yes, the plastic jar is suitable for various types of denser textures such as creams, balms, butters or scrubs. The wide mouth makes it easy to scoop out the product and apply it with fingers or a spatula, while the rigid lid helps to ensure that the contents remain protected during storage and transport.

Can I reuse the jar for further batches of products?

The jar can be reused provided that strict hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the container must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. This will reduce the risk of microbial contamination and help to maintain the stability of your formulation. After disinfection, always allow the container to dry thoroughly.

How should I correctly store filled jars with cosmetics?

We recommend storing filled jars in a dry, clean and shaded place at a stable room temperature. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and significant temperature fluctuations, which can negatively affect the consistency or fragrance of the product. When handling, it is advisable to use a clean spatula to minimise direct contact of fingers with the contents and to extend the in-use shelf life of the product.

How should I recycle this packaging if I do not want to continue using it?

If you decide not to use the jar further, we recommend recycling it in accordance with the material designation given in the product parameters. Before placing it in sorted waste collection, remove any product residues, rinse the container to remove cosmetic residues and separate the individual parts (for example the container and the lid) if they are made from different materials. Then place them in the appropriate container according to local waste-sorting rules so that the material can be reprocessed.
