The glass bottle with a matte white dropper represents a professional packaging solution suitable for precise dosing of liquid formulations in cosmetics as well as in laboratory or craft production. Thanks to the high-quality glass and the dropper with fine dosing, the bottle is ideal for products where control of the amount and cleanliness of application are important. The dark glass also helps protect more sensitive contents from light, which contributes to the stability and longer durability of formulations.
Glass bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected for the product. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, the dosing method and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil or water base, etc.).

Yes, the glass bottle is generally suitable for oil-based and water-based products such as facial oils, serums or aqueous solutions. For formulations containing strong acids, a high proportion of alcohol or specific actives, we always recommend performing a compatibility test – filling a smaller amount of product, observing any changes (discolouration, odour, cloudiness) and checking the functionality of the dropper during real use.
The bottle can be reused for different types of products provided that hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned, freed from any residue of the previous content and then disinfected. For disinfection, we recommend using, for example, isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which you can find in the offer as IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol and Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. After applying the alcohol, allow the packaging to dry completely at room temperature and only then refill it.
First, rinse the bottle mechanically with a suitable cleaning agent (for example a mild neutral detergent) and warm water until all residues of the original product are removed. Then we recommend rinsing the packaging with clean water and disinfecting it with alcohol (ALK001 / ALK002) – use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. Clean the dropper separately by gently rinsing and then disinfecting it; during mechanical cleaning avoid hard brushes so as not to damage the tip or the seals.
If you decide not to use the bottle further, we recommend recycling it according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass container should usually be emptied, any remaining contents wiped off, and then placed in the appropriate glass container according to local waste-sorting rules. The closure, dropper and any plastic or rubber parts must be separated and sorted separately according to their material, if this is allowed by the collection system in your municipality. In this way you minimise environmental impact and ensure that the materials can be reused.
