The glass bottle with dropper is a professional packaging material designed primarily for filling cosmetic preparations, active serums, oils and other concentrated formulations. Thanks to the precise dropper, it enables controlled and hygienic dosing, which is ideal when applying smaller amounts of products to the face, skin or scalp. The dark glass also helps protect sensitive components from external influences, thereby contributing to the stability and longer shelf life of the contents.
The bottle with dropper is designed as a functional combination of the container and the dosing element, ensuring convenient and precise use of the product. The packaging and closure combinations that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) so that you can be sure of optimal performance under your specific conditions and in your own formulations.

The glass bottle is generally a suitable choice for formulations containing essential oils, perfume compositions and other active substances, since glass is a stable and inert material. For every new product we recommend performing your own compatibility test, focusing on long-term stability, the behaviour of the dropper and the tightness of the closure, especially at higher concentrations of essential oils or acidic or alkaline components.
The bottle can be reused if correct hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. We also recommend using the bottle and dropper only for compatible types of products (for example stable cosmetic oils or stable aqueous solutions) to avoid unwanted mixing of fragrances and residues of older formulations.
Before the first filling, we recommend mechanically cleaning the bottle (removing dust and impurities), then rinsing it according to your internal hygiene procedures and finally disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. After disinfection, allow the packaging and the dropper to dry thoroughly at room temperature so that no residual moisture remains inside that could affect the stability of your product.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is appropriate to recycle it according to the material types specified in the product parameters. The glass body of the bottle is usually placed in the container designated for glass after emptying and basic rinsing. The dropper consists of several parts (plastic, rubber bulb and possibly a glass pipette), and it is necessary to follow the recommendations for the individual materials according to local recycling rules and the information in the parameter table on the product page. Before handing over for collection, it is always advisable to remove any remaining product from the packaging.
