The glass bottle with a straight top and matte black closure represents a professional packaging solution suitable for various liquid and semi-solid formulations. The high-quality glass is stable, inert, and helps protect the contents from external influences, while the practical closure ensures convenient and reliable sealing. This type of packaging is ideal for more precise dosing, a premium appearance, and for products where the long-term stability of the formulation is important.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers, or practical applicators), depending on the parameters selected in the product details. Combinations of containers and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing, and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) to be sure that the packaging works reliably with your particular product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, this type of glass packaging can, if hygiene rules are observed, be safely reused. Before each new filling, however, it is necessary to thoroughly clean and disinfect the bottle, ideally using alcohol-based disinfectants, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and extends the stability of your product.
Before first use or when changing the type of product, we recommend first cleaning the bottle mechanically (rinsing with a suitable cleaning solution or with warm water and a mild detergent), then rinsing it thoroughly and allowing it to dry completely. It is then advisable to disinfect the inner surface with alcohol, for example using IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. Filling should only be carried out once it is completely dry, in order to prevent dilution or alteration of the formulation.
If you decide not to use the packaging any longer, we recommend recycling it according to the material composition indicated in the product parameters. In general, after removing any product residues and separating the closure, the glass container can be placed in the appropriate glass container within the separate collection system. A closure made from a different material (plastic, metal) should be sorted according to local waste collection rules. Before recycling, it is advisable to rinse the bottle so that no residues of cosmetics or other preparations remain in the waste.
The simplest way is to use the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the selected packaging category (for example bottles, medicine bottles, jars). In the advanced filter you can conveniently select according to several parameters at once – filtering is available by neck type and size, total volume or size, colour, and packaging material. This enables you to quickly find the combination of container and closure that best matches the specific product and the intended method of application.
The bottle is suitable for a wide range of cosmetic and technical formulations, especially oil serums, light emulsions, fluid products, hydrophilic oils, hair and facial treatments, and aromatherapeutic blends. Thanks to its compatibility with various types of closures and dispensers, you can choose a solution that suits both the viscosity of the product and the desired method of application (dripping, spraying, spot dosing, etc.). Before serial filling, we always recommend performing a trial stability and compatibility test with the specific formula.
We recommend storing filled bottles in a dry, cooler place, protected from direct sunlight and significant temperature fluctuations. This minimises the risk of oxidation and deterioration of the stability of sensitive components such as natural oils or active substances. Always tighten the closure firmly to reduce the risk of evaporation of volatile substances and potential contamination. For products with a higher water content, it is also advisable to pay attention to microbiological safety and to use preservation systems in line with the nature of the formulation.
