Glass bottle – medicine bottle with silver shiny dropper represents an elegant and functional packaging for precise dosing of liquids. Thanks to the high-quality glass and the integrated dropper, it is suitable for filling serums, oils, essential blends or concentrated solutions, where control over the amount of product applied is important. This type of bottle is ideal for formulations where clean, hygienic and convenient dosing is required without unnecessary loss of content.
This product represents a combination of glass bottle and dropper closure, designed to provide comfortable and controlled dosing. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially when using a high proportion of alcohol, essential oils or other reactive raw materials.
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Before implementation in production we recommend verifying the compatibility of the bottle with the specific recipe by testing storage stability, tightness of the dropper and consistency of dosing under real conditions of use (temperature, handling, transport).
If you decide not to recycle the packaging by repeated use, it is appropriate to place it in the relevant separated waste stream according to the material stated in the product parameters and the local waste sorting rules.
The bottle with dropper is primarily intended for liquid products of low to medium viscosity that can be dosed dropwise. For thicker oils or serums, we recommend first testing on a small trial quantity whether the dropper allows smooth and even dosing without clogging. In the case of very viscous formulations, it may be more appropriate to use another type of dispensing (for example a pump or a different consistency of the formulation).
The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each refilling, the bottle and dropper must be mechanically cleaned, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol 1 l or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based 1 l. After disinfection, let all parts dry thoroughly at room temperature so that no residual moisture or alcohol remains in the packaging, and only then refill the container.
We recommend storing filled bottles in an upright position, well closed, in a dry and clean place without direct sunlight and away from sources of heat. Product stability is also supported by limiting frequent opening and contact with contamination during use. Always follow the storage recommendations for the specific formulation and the shelf life of the raw materials used.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is appropriate to recycle it according to the material composition stated in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle can usually be placed in separated glass waste after emptying and basic rinsing. The dropper (a combination of plastic, metal and possibly other components) should preferably be disassembled where possible and handled according to local waste sorting rules; if disassembly is not possible, dispose of it in mixed waste or according to the instructions of your waste collection company. Always follow the current local regulations and sorting system in your region.
