Glass bottle – pharmaceutical bottle with black ribbed child-resistant cap is a professional packaging suitable for precise dosing and safe storage of liquids as well as more sensitive formulations. The reliable child-resistant closure helps protect the contents against unintentional opening, leakage and contamination, making the bottle ideal for homemade and artisan products.
This type of pharmaceutical bottle is popular for packaging cosmetic, aromatherapeutic and laboratory preparations where dose control and content stability are important. High-quality glass together with a functional closure supports the long-term stability of the fragrance, colour and active substances in the product.
The glass pharmaceutical bottle itself is compatible with various types of closures and dosing options depending on the selected parameters – for example with screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators. The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the glass pharmaceutical bottle with ribbed child-resistant cap is suitable for various homemade cosmetic products such as serums, facial oils, toners or concentrated active solutions. Glass is a stable material and the practical child-resistant closure helps keep the product protected during use and storage. Before the first filling, we recommend cleaning and disinfecting the packaging according to the nature of your formulation.
The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and cap must be thoroughly washed, checked for integrity and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. In this way you minimise the risk of microbial contamination and maintain the quality of each new batch.
First remove any residues of the original product by rinsing with warm water and a suitable mild detergent, and use a bottle brush if necessary. Then rinse the bottle thoroughly with drinking water, let it dry completely and only then carry out disinfection using alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After the alcohol has evaporated and cleanliness has been checked, the packaging is ready for new filling.
If you decide not to use the packaging any longer, we recommend recycling it in accordance with the information given in the parameter table for the product. The glass part of the packaging can usually be sorted into the container designated for glass after emptying and rough cleaning, and the closure must be sorted according to the information on the material used (for example into the appropriate container for plastics or composite packaging). Before placing it in sorted waste, follow the local sorting rules and the recommendations given for the product on the Handymade website.
When choosing packaging, you can use the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant category (for example bottles, pharmaceutical bottles, jars or dispensers). In the advanced filter, packaging can be sorted by neck type, size, colour and material, so you can easily narrow down the selection to variants that match your formulation and the intended dosing method. In this way you will quickly find a suitable combination of bottle, closure and any dispenser.
