Ready-to-fill set for filling and drop-by-drop dispensing: amber glass vial with a nominal volume of 30 ml, a long plastic dropper insert and a white ribbed cap with safety lock. The amber glass reduces light exposure and the dropper dispenses the contents drop by drop. The set is suitable for essential oils and their blends, oil-based facial serums, carrier and essential oil blends, concentrated active ingredients or tinctures for external use — wherever precise dosing and protection of the contents from light are important.

All three components of the set are declared as suitable for contact with cosmetic products. Only the glass bottle alone holds a certificate for direct food contact; the dropper and cap do not, so the set as a whole is intended for cosmetics.

How the set works

Once filled, the dropper is pressed into the neck of the bottle, where it holds without glue or threading. The long version sits deeper in the neck. The contents are dispensed by tilting or turning the bottle upside down; the dripping speed depends on the viscosity of the contents. Light essential oils and fluid serums flow quickly, thicker oils more slowly. Dense gels, emulsions and creams will not pass through the dropper — this set is not suitable for them.

The cap screws onto the bottle neck like a standard closure. The ribbed surface makes it easier to grip even with oily or wet hands. The safety lock on the cap is not a substitute for keeping the bottle out of reach of children — store essential oils and concentrates where children cannot access them.

Nominal and total volume

Packaging comes with two volumes listed. The nominal volume is the volume the packaging is designed for in standard filling and by which it is named. The total brim-full volume is the physical volume up to the neck. The difference between them is a reserve for the dropper, which displaces some of the contents when pressed into the neck, and for the expansion of the contents with temperature changes. Fill only to the nominal volume, not to the brim. The exact values of both volumes are listed in the product parameters.

Good to know

• Preparation before first filling – we recommend washing the bottle, disinfecting it with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and letting it dry completely. For the dropper and cap, a rinse with alcohol and letting it evaporate is sufficient.
• Glass and temperature – glass can withstand standard filling temperatures, but not sudden temperature changes. Let warm contents cool before filling and do not put the bottle directly from cold into hot water.
• Reuse – the glass bottle can be reused after thorough washing and disinfection. The dropper has narrow channels that are difficult to clean; when switching to a new formula, we recommend using a new dropper.
• Labelling – the cylindrical shape of the vial allows a wrap-around label to be applied. The dimensions of the bottle can be found in the product parameters.
• Other closures – the bottle itself can also be combined with other closures of the same neck type from the Handymade range. With a custom combination, we recommend checking the seal and dispensing with the specific formulation.
• Recycling – before disposal, separate the plastic dropper and cap from the glass. Glass goes in glass recycling, plastic parts in plastics.
