Before each new filling, the bottle and cap must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, for example using technical alcohol such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Packaging prepared in this way is then suitable for refilling with a compatible product.

How should I properly clean the glass bottle before filling a new product?

First, we recommend mechanically cleaning the packaging – rinsing it with warm water and an appropriate cleaning agent and thoroughly removing all residues of the original fill. It is then important to rinse the bottle and cap with clean water, allow them to dry thoroughly and only then disinfect. For final disinfection it is advisable to use an alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After the alcohol has evaporated, the packaging is ready for new filling.

How can I safely dispose of or recycle the glass medicine bottle and cap after use?
