Yes, the packaging can be reused with proper handling and adherence to hygiene principles. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the bottle and the cap and then disinfect them with a suitable agent, such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection, we recommend the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. Only after the alcohol has completely dried and ventilated is the bottle ready for a new filling.

Before first use, we recommend rinsing the bottle and the cap with a suitable cleaning agent, thoroughly rinsing with drinking water and then disinfecting the surfaces that will be in contact with the product with alcohol. You can use alcoholic solutions such as the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. After disinfection, leave the packaging to air-dry at room temperature so that the alcohol residues can evaporate.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste-sorting regulations. The glass part of the bottle is usually sorted into the container designated for glass; it is advisable to remove any product residues. We recommend sorting the metal cap according to the local system for collecting metal packaging. Before disposal, make sure the packaging is emptied and, if necessary, also rinsed.

The glass bottle is generally suitable for packaging a wide range of cosmetic products such as oils, serums, toners and perfume compositions. For highly specific or very reactive formulations, however, we recommend performing your own compatibility test – checking the behaviour of the product in the packaging under the intended storage conditions (temperature, light, handling) and ensuring there are no changes in colour, scent or stability of the contents.

We recommend verifying compatibility using a trial batch of the product. Fill a smaller amount of the formulation into the bottle, close it properly with the cap and leave the packaging for a certain time under the conditions in which the product will actually be stored and used (for example various temperatures, transport, handling). Monitor changes in appearance, scent, viscosity, any corrosion or discolouration of the cap and glass, as well as the tightness of the closure. Only after a successful test do we recommend proceeding with filling the entire series.
