You can conveniently choose parameters such as the type of neck, size, colour and material of the packaging, which will quickly narrow down suitable options for a specific product and method of dosing.

Yes, the glass packaging can be used repeatedly if handled correctly, always with strict adherence to hygiene principles. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dropper must be thoroughly cleaned and subsequently disinfected, for example with isopropyl alcohol ALK001 or ethanol ALK002. Only after complete drying and airing is the packaging ready for further safe use.

It is recommended first to rinse the packaging thoroughly with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent and remove all residues of the original contents. Then rinse the bottle and the components of the dropper with clean water, let them drain and dry. Before filling, it is necessary to disinfect the packaging with a suitable alcohol (for example the products ALK001 or ALK002 available on Handymade), allow the alcohol to evaporate, and only then work with the clean and dry packaging. When changing the type of product (for example from a perfume blend to a facial serum), we recommend, for hygiene reasons, also considering the use of a new dropper.

The dropper is best suited for liquids with low to medium viscosity where precise drop-by-drop dosing is important. These include, for example, facial and hair serums, oil elixirs, concentrated active substances, aromatherapeutic blends or intensive perfume concentrates intended for external use. For very thick preparations, dosing may be slower – in such a case, it is appropriate to consider another type of dispenser according to the offer in the relevant packaging category.

Always fill in a clean working environment, with well-groomed hands and ideally using clean tools (funnel, dosing syringe, measuring cups reserved for cosmetics). The packaging must be cleaned and disinfected before filling. After pouring in the product, close the bottle immediately with the dropper to limit contact with air. It is also recommended to mark the date of manufacture and the type of formulation, so that you have an overview of batches and shelf life.

If you decide not to use the bottle anymore, it is recommended to recycle it according to the type of material specified in the product parameters. After emptying and rinsing, throw the glass body of the bottle into the container designated for glass according to local waste separation rules. The dropper consists of several materials (plastic, rubber, glass) and usually belongs in mixed waste, unless otherwise specified in your waste collection system. Before recycling, always remove product residues and labels so that the individual parts of the packaging are as clean as possible and easy to process in the recycling process.
