The glass bottle with white spray pump is a practical packaging for cosmetic and hygiene preparations that allows comfortable, fine and even spraying of liquids. Thanks to the high-quality glass and functional mechanism, it is suitable for filling products where an accurate dose, clean application and a professional appearance of the final packaging are important.
This bottle is ideal for various types of liquid formulations – from toning waters and facial mists through hair products to homemade cleaners or air fresheners. Glass is a stable, chemically resistant material that supports the long-term quality of the contents and helps minimise interactions between the packaging and the product.
This glass bottle with spray pump is designed as a functional combination of packaging and dosing. The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) so that you can be sure the packaging works reliably with your particular product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it properly according to the material type specified in the product parameters. The glass bottle can usually be handed over to the separated collection for packaging glass, and the plastic components (spray pump, protective cap) should be sorted into plastic collection according to local rules. Before recycling, we recommend emptying the packaging and removing any product residues.
Yes, the bottle can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, we recommend cleaning the packaging thoroughly and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol solution, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 %. After thorough drying, you can safely refill the bottle with your product.
After emptying the packaging, we recommend rinsing the spray pump several times with warm water, drawing some of the water into the mechanism and spraying it repeatedly so that the inner capillary is flushed. It is then advisable to rinse the mechanism with a small amount of alcohol solution, which helps remove residues of oils or active substances and supports hygiene. After the components have dried, the spray pump can be reused with a new filling, and it is always important to check that the dosing functions correctly.
The bottle is most suitable for liquid preparations intended for fine spraying – for example facial lotions, floral hydrolats, body or hair sprays, aromatic and refreshing blends, disinfectant sprays and light cleaning solutions. In the case of thicker, highly viscous formulations, spraying may be limited, so for a new product we recommend performing a test of the dosing and the evenness of the spray pattern.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly. First completely empty the bottle and, if necessary, rinse out any remaining contents. The glass part of the packaging is usually sorted into the glass container, while the plastic components of the spray pump and any plastic cap belong in the separated plastic collection according to local rules. Always adapt the specific method of sorting to the information in the product parameters and to the local waste collection system in your village or town.
To make it easier to choose a suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging material category. With it you can quickly filter packaging by neck type, size, colour and material. In this way, you narrow down the selection only to those bottles, jars or pots that best meet the requirements of your particular product and dosing method.
For any new formulation, we recommend performing a compatibility test on a smaller scale. Fill part of the product into the bottle, leave it for a certain time under normal storage conditions and continuously monitor the behaviour of the glass and the spray pump – the colour and scent of the product, the functioning of the mechanism, the sealing and any sedimentation or clogging. This procedure will help you verify that the given packaging is suitable for your recipe even during long-term use and storage.
