Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the bottle and all its components and then disinfect them with a suitable alcohol, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow the packaging to dry completely at room temperature. When changing the type of product (for example from perfume to facial serum), we recommend paying increased attention to cleaning in order to prevent unwanted mixing of fragrances or active substances.

Before reuse, first mechanically remove any residues of the original product (rinsing with warm water and a suitable mild cleaning agent). Then we recommend thoroughly rinsing the bottle with drinking water and allowing it to dry. The final step is disinfection of the inner surface and the dropper using alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 %. After treatment with alcohol, allow all components to air out thoroughly and dry at room temperature before refilling.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the material types indicated in the product parameters. The glass bottle can generally be placed in the glass container after removing any remaining contents. The dropper consists of several material parts (plastic, rubber, possibly metal), so it is advisable to separate them where possible and sort them according to local waste management rules. Before handing the packaging over for recycling, we recommend rinsing the bottle and the dropper to remove product residues, in order to facilitate the recycling process. Always verify the specific sorting method according to the information in the parameter table and the current rules in your municipality.
