The glass bottle with ribbed safety cap represents a reliable and aesthetic packaging solution for liquid and slightly viscous formulations. The blue glass helps protect more sensitive components from light, which is advantageous for products containing plant extracts, oils or aromatic blends. In combination with a secure cap with safety mechanism, this bottle is suitable for precise packaging of cosmetics, technical solutions and laboratory preparations.
Thanks to the quality of the glass and the sealing cap, the bottle supports the stability of the contents and minimizes the risk of contamination or unwanted air ingress. It is ideal for small product batches, test samples, both professional and hobby use – from homemade natural cosmetics to artisanal and semi-professional series.
The standalone glass bottle is available on Handymade in various configurations and is compatible with several types of closures and dispensing systems depending on the selected product parameters. It can be matched with screw caps, dropper inserts, pipettes, spray pumps or practical applicators, allowing you to adapt the method of application to the specific type of formulation.
The packaging and cap combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes, the glass packaging can be reused provided that strict hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the cap must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. For disinfection, we recommend using high-percentage alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After cleaning, allow the packaging to dry completely and only then refill it.
Before first use, we recommend rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning agent, then rinsing it with drinking water and, depending on the nature of the intended filling, disinfecting it with alcohol (for example with the products IPA 99 or ethanol 96 denatured plant-based). Allow the packaging to dry naturally in a clean environment to minimise the risk of microbial contamination.
When selecting a cap or dispensing element, it is important to follow the neck type specified in the product parameters and the desired method of application. For liquid serums and oils, droppers and dropper inserts are often used, spray pumps are practical for toners, and classic screw caps for concentrated solutions. All compatible caps and dispensers can be found directly on the product page or in the relevant packaging material categories, and we recommend always performing your own sealing and dosing test with the specific formulation.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material type specified in the product parameters. The glass bottle usually belongs in the glass container once it has been emptied and freed from any product residues. The plastic or combined cap should be sorted according to the material marking (for example into plastics), if the collection system in your area allows this. Before placing it in sorted waste, it is advisable to empty the packaging as much as possible to facilitate its processing in the recycling process.
