Product description

Buriti oil is an exotic oil. It is produced by cold pressing the fruit of the Amazonian moriche palm (Mauritia flexuosa). Thanks to its very high beta-carotene content, it has a deep orange to red colour (it has five times higher beta-carotene content than, for example, carrot oil). It also contains a high amount of vitamin E and A.

Our customers can use this oil in the production of various cosmetic products. Thanks to its composition, it helps to reduce fine wrinkles, supports the restoration of skin elasticity, acts as a solar filter in suncare products, eliminates signs of ageing, helps to regenerate and hydrate skin cells, supports collagen and elastin production, has anti-inflammatory properties, helps in the healing of burns, cuts and scars.

It is ideal for all skin types, especially for mature skin. It is also very suitable for formulations for dry and damaged hair.
