Product description

Buriti oil is an exotic oil. It is produced by cold pressing the fruit of the Amazonian moriche palm (Mauritia flexuosa). Due to its very high beta-carotene content, it has a deep orange to red colour (it has five times higher beta-carotene content than, for example, carrot oil). It also contains high amounts of vitamin E and A.

Our customers are able to use this oil in the production of various cosmetic products. Thanks to its beneficial properties, it helps to reduce fine wrinkles, promotes the restoration of skin elasticity, acts as a sun filter in sunscreens, eliminates signs of ageing, helps to restore and hydrate skin cells, promotes the production of collagen and elastin, has anti-inflammatory properties, helps in the healing of burns, cuts and scars.

It is ideal for all skin types, especially mature skin. It is also very suitable for use in preparations for dry and damaged hair.
