Transparent glass bottle with black safety cap is a universal packaging component suitable for a wide range of liquid and slightly viscous products. Thanks to the high-quality glass processing and the safety closure, it helps protect the contents against contamination and unwanted leakage. The transparent glass allows for easy visual inspection of the contents, which you will appreciate for home production as well as for professional filling of cosmetic or technical preparations.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing methods according to the selected parameters. They can be combined with screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators, allowing you to adapt the final packaging precisely to the consistency and method of use of the product. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, this type of glass bottle can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, we recommend washing the packaging thoroughly and then cleaning and disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol-based product, for example using isopropyl alcohol IPA 99% or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96% denatured. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and extends the stability of your formulations.
Before the first filling, we recommend rinsing the glass bottle with drinking water, then using a mild cleaning agent and rinsing thoroughly so that no detergent residues remain. After drying, it is advisable to disinfect the inner surface and the cap with alcohol (e.g. IPA or ethanol) and let it evaporate. When filling, work in the cleanest environment possible and minimize contact of the inside of the packaging with your hands or non-sterile tools.
If you decide not to use the bottle further, we recommend recycling it according to the recommendations given in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade.sk website. In most cases, clean glass is placed in a container designated for glass waste, while the plastic or combined cap belongs to the appropriate fraction of sorted waste according to local regulations. Before disposal, remove product residues and labels to the extent allowed by local recycling conditions.
The glass bottle is particularly ideal for cosmetic solutions, water-based and alcohol-based preparations, light oil blends and toners. It is also suitable for herbal extracts and tinctures intended for external use, where more precise application and convenient dosing are important. When choosing the specific packaging, always take into account the viscosity, pH and content of volatile components in your formulation and, based on that, choose the type of cap or dispenser.
To make it easier to choose a suitable bottle, jar or other packaging, use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging material category. You can clearly filter the products according to parameters such as neck, size, colour and material. This makes it easy to find packaging that matches your formulation, the desired dosing and your brand’s visual identity.
Before the final stocking of the product, we recommend performing your own compatibility test. Fill one bottle with a sample of the formulation, close it properly with the selected cap and observe the behaviour of the packaging over several days: sealing (whether leakage occurs), any change in colour or odour, and any changes to the thread or gasket of the cap. Store the bottle under conditions similar to those in which the product will actually be used (temperature, light, transport) in order to obtain the most relevant results.
