You can unscrew the spray pump from the bottle, rinse the nozzle and the tube in warm water and then in a small amount of alcohol, which will help remove more greasy residues. After cleaning, allow all parts to dry and then test the spray pump again with clean water or the final product. For thicker formulations or preparations with undissolved particles, we recommend considering another form of dosing, for example a lotion pump or a dropper.

The glass body of the bottle, after emptying and rinsing, usually belongs in the container designated for glass. The spray pump is usually a combination of plastic and possibly metal components, which are generally sorted into municipal or plastic waste according to local collection rules.
