Clear Glass Bottle, Glossy Golden White Pump, 10 ml

A small glass bottle with a pump for precise dispensing of more fluid cosmetic products. The set consists of a clear 10 ml medicine bottle and a glossy white and gold pump with a dip tube, which dispenses the same small dose with every press. It is suitable for face serums, oil serums for the face or nail cuticles, light emulsions and samples, where the customer should take exactly as much as needed, without fingers touching the contents.

Clear glass shows the colour and consistency of the contents, which is useful for coloured serums or oils whose appearance is part of the product. The packaging is declared as suitable for contact with cosmetic products; you will find the declaration of conformity with the product.

What it is suitable for

• Face serums – water-based and oil-based serums with lower viscosity, where the product is dispensed in drops and a small dose from the pump replaces guesswork.
• Oil blends for the face and nails – the pump takes the same amount every time, and the contents do not spill or pour out during use.
• Light emulsions and milks – fluid creams and emulsions that the tube can draw up. We recommend testing thicker creams before filling.
• Samples and travel packs – the 10 ml volume corresponds to a test pack of a serum or cream that should look like a finished retail product.
• Gift and presentation sets – the glossy white and gold pump with glass looks like finished packaging without any further modification.

Filling and dispensing

The bottle has a nominal volume of 10 ml. The nominal volume is the amount the packaging is designed for under normal filling. The total brimful volume is larger, as it is the physical volume up to the neck. The difference between the two is a reserve for the pump tube and for expansion of the contents when the temperature changes. Therefore, fill only up to the nominal volume, never to the brim; otherwise part of the contents will be pushed out when the pump is screwed on.

The pump dispenses approximately 0.14 ml per press. It delivers a consistent dose only after the first few presses, once the tube has filled.

Good to know

Clear glass does not protect the contents from light. Serums with vitamin C, retinol, unstable vegetable oils or essential oils are better filled into amber or blue glass, or the bottle can be kept in a box away from direct light.

The pump is a combination of plastic (PP) and aluminium. For contents with a high proportion of essential oils or solvents, we recommend checking in advance that the contents do not discolour the plastic parts and that the dispensing remains the same after several weeks. The tube cannot draw up very thick creams, butters and gels with high viscosity. Test the function with your specific formulation on one bottle before filling the whole batch.

After emptying, the glass can be washed and refilled repeatedly. Rinse the pump with warm water and a small amount of washing-up liquid, pump it dry a few times and leave it to dry. When changing the contents from oil to a water-based emulsion, we recommend replacing the pump, as oil residues are hard to remove completely from the tube. For recycling, glass belongs with glass; the pump is a mixed material and is separated from the bottle before disposal.
