Product description

Coco-Caprylate/Caprate is an emulsifier that is derived from coconut oil. It is a mixture of esters of coconut alcohol with caprylic acid and capric acid.

It is very well absorbed and produces a silky, non-greasy feel on the skin. It is suitable for sensitive skin and is biodegradable and non-hazardous.
It is an excellent substitute for silicone oils. It can be used in cosmetic products for skin, body, hair.

It is added to the oil phase in both hot and cold processes.

The pH value of the final formulation should be in the range of 4 - 8.
