The bottle with dropper is designed for dosing common liquid and oil formulations. Thicker oil serums and oils can be used as long as they flow smoothly through the dropper and form drops without clogging it. For very viscous formulations we recommend carrying out a trial filling and testing whether the dripping speed and application comfort suit you.

Before filling it is advisable for the bottle and the product being filled to have a similar ambient temperature, which minimises water condensation on the walls. Fill slowly and smoothly, ideally using a funnel or suitable filling aid, and leave a small air gap below the thread so that liquid is not forced into the thread when closing. After filling, screw on the dropper evenly and without excessive force to maintain tightness and long-term convenient opening.

The packaging can be reused, provided that hygiene principles are observed, including for another type of formulation. Before each new filling it is necessary to clean the bottle and the dropper thoroughly and then disinfect them, for example using isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 %. After disinfection let all parts dry completely so that residual moisture does not get into the new filling. When switching to a completely different type of product always consider whether repeated use is still suitable in terms of safety, scent and colour.

You can rinse the glass container with warm water and a mild cleaning agent, or regularly flush it with an alcohol solution. Always allow the interior to drain well and dry completely so that no residual water remains in the bottle. Clean the rubber and plastic parts of the dropper more gently, without aggressive detergents and excessive temperature, so that they retain their shape and sealing properties. For any type of cleaning it is important to disinfect the packaging after the process is finished and let it dry completely before the next filling.

If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the information given in the parameter table for the product. The glass bottle can usually be handed over, after rinsing, to a container intended for glass. The dropper and other parts of the closure, which may contain plastic, rubber or a combination of materials, should be sorted according to local separate collection rules or handed over at a collection yard. Before handing over the packaging, remove product residues so that they are not contaminated and can be recycled effectively.
