Glass is generally a very stable and resistant material towards most essential oils and aromatic components, which is why it is commonly used precisely for such formulations. However, we always recommend carrying out your own stability test of the specific blend in a smaller quantity and monitoring the behaviour of the dropper (rubber part, seal) in long-term contact with your formula. In this way you will verify that the dosing remains functional and that the material is not affected by the composition of the product.

The bottle can be reused if strict hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling it is necessary to thoroughly clean and disinfect the packaging, the dropper and all its parts in order to prevent microbial contamination and transfer of residues of the previous product. For disinfection we recommend using, for example, isopropyl alcohol or ethanol from our range, available as IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96% denatured vegetable. After treatment it is necessary to allow all parts to dry completely and only then fill them again.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the material composition given in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle can usually, after rinsing off product residues, be collected in a container intended for glass. The dropper may contain a combination of several materials (plastic, rubber, possibly metal), therefore it is advisable to dismantle it where possible and sort the individual parts into the appropriate collection containers as recommended by your local separated-waste infrastructure. In case of doubt, follow the pictograms and recycling symbols given in the parameter sheet on the product page.

When filling we recommend working in the cleanest environment possible, using disinfected tools (funnels, pipettes, measuring vessels) and minimising contact of the internal parts of the packaging with hands or other non-sterile surfaces. It is advisable to clean the bottle and the dropper before first use and then disinfect them with a suitable alcohol. After filling, close the bottle immediately and do not leave it open unnecessarily in order to minimise contact with the surroundings. For sensitive formulations it is advisable to fill smaller batches and to use the product within the recommended time.
