Can this glass pharma bottle with spray pump be used repeatedly?

Yes, the bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean and rinse the packaging thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and of the new formulation being affected by residues of the original product.

For what type of products is this packaging most suitable?

This packaging is ideal for liquid products that are applied by spraying – for example facial and body sprays, hydrolats, hair waters, air fresheners, disinfectant solutions or herbal blends intended for topical use. The spray pump allows comfortable and economical dosing without direct contact of the hands with the contents.

How should the glass bottle and spray pump be properly cared for?

The glass part of the packaging can be carefully washed with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent, the bottle thoroughly rinsed and left to dry. For the spray pump we recommend only light rinsing so that the seals and mechanism are not damaged. Before refilling, it is advisable to disinfect the entire packaging with alcohol (ALK001 / ALK002) and leave it to air so that the residual alcohol does not affect the fragrance or stability of the final product.

How can I correctly recycle the glass pharma bottle after use?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material composition given in the product parameters. The glass container can usually be placed in a glass recycling bin after removal of product residues. The plastic parts of the spray pump (head, dip tube, possibly safety clip) belong in sorted waste according to the type of plastic. Before handing over for recycling, it is advisable to rinse the packaging to minimise product residues.

When using the spray pump, however, it is important to verify the compatibility of the specific blend with the plastic parts of the mechanism. We always recommend carrying out your own test – fill a smaller volume, observe the spraying function, sealing and any changes in the appearance of the plastic over time.
